# Validates Selected Tool

**`POST /api/v1/tools/validate`**

Validates the configuration of the provided tool and returns a validation result.

**Authentication:** Bearer token required (`Authorization: Bearer <token>`)

**Permission:** `Permissions.TOOLS_TOOL_UPDATE` or `Permissions.TOOLS_TOOL_REVIEW`
