# Creates a New Role

**`POST /api/v1/permissions/roles`**

Creates a new custom role within the authenticated Standard Registry's organization.

**Authentication:** Bearer token required (`Authorization: Bearer <token>`)

**Permission:** `Permissions.PERMISSIONS_ROLE_CREATE`
